FREAKS, GEEKS, AND CROSSED FINGERS. Reuters reports that NBC is planning a three-episode teenangst-athon culled from the show's five "lost" episodes. Still unscheduled, but the event would probably take place on a Saturday night in June or July. Okay, you're allowed to stay home for that.

Call it Survival of the Hottest: In his new book, Dr. Geoffrey Miller says that human imagination, artfulness, amiability, and sense of humor are shaped not by natural selection but rather by "sexual selection:" the process that increases odds of attracting mates and reproducing.
