THE END OF AN ERA! Avon Products is closing its door-to-doors. Fewer and fewer women are at home during the day -- or hospitable to strangers if they are -- so the Avon Lady is going the way of the ice man (and the products are making their way into Sears). Ooh! The Mary Kay people must be filing their nails to a sharp point!
