Dear Breakup Girl,
I just broke up with my high-school sweetheart after 12 years--roughly 6 of
which we lived together. I have had urges to pierce my bellybutton as a way
to commemorate the breakup. But one of my friends recently advised against it,
arguing that belly-rings are like, so four years ago. Got any suggestions that
are more with the times? I've never been a big fan of tattoos.

Dear Vanessa,
Perform a ritual viewing of "21
Jump Street?" Sing "I
Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For?" Shred
relationship-related documents? In other words, how about commemorating the
breakup with something that's, like, so 12
years ago?
Love,
Breakup Girl
