Dear Breakup Girl,

My ex-boyfriend, Chris, and I are doing the friends thing right now, and it is working out. He is in university and has run out of money, so he asked if he could stay with me for 2 months in my spare room. I said yes, after all, we are friends. Now the dilemma: Chris will be leaving for the summer for a job, and then wants to come back (as a paying roommate) for his last year at university. I enjoy his company, he's a great roommate, but the situation seems a little weird. To complicate matters, I have started dating a wonderful guy, and I don't want this living arrangement to get in the way. That translates to, I haven't told the new bf the past history that i have with the roommate. This is causing me tons 'o guilt. Right now, Chris is poor, but after the summer he should have some money. Should I ask Chris to move on and find somewhere else to live?
