How picky are you? continued...

"I'll think twice before I date a guy with loads of money, because I've found out that: a) many are showoffs, b) they think you want their money, so even if you behave as if they don't have any, they think they can treat you like crap, c) many girls want their money, so there's always someone harassing them (which they think gives them bragging rights), d) many are cheapskates, e) they work most of the time; their passion is mostly their income flow." -- Diana

"I couldn't date a man who wore jewelry." -- Candace

"I once got called shallow on the boards when a guy posted that he stopped going to the gym and let himself get fat and wanted women to deal with that. What people don't get is that I am not looking for an Adonis body. I just want someone who cares about his body. I don't want someone who is going to die of a heart attack on me and leave me widowed in 15 years. I want someone who is reasonably active, can keep up with my own activity level (pretty high) and eats a decent diet (not that I mind if he occasionally pigs out on ice cream or fast food -- I do that too). I'm not looking for perfection in lifestyle or body type, just a sense that he cares." -- Rachel

"[He/we must] (1) Love dogs (2) enjoy a good glass of wine, but no white zinfandel (3) have good relationship with mother and family (4)be athletic (5) have integrity (6) have integrity (7) have integrity (8) have a good sense of humor (9) have mutual sexual chemistry (10) be thoughtful and giving (11) live in my damn state!" -- Jennifer

"(1) I am close to my family, and I expect to do a lot for them as I grow. He has to be understanding about that. I would also like him to have a similar relationship with his family. (2) I'm of a minority race in America; he should be interested in my culture, and understanding of its traditions. (3) He should be taller than me by at least two inches. I'm barely 5'6'' so that usually isn't a problem. But I'd like to be able to vary my shoes, instead of just having to wear sneakers or flats. Ha, yeah, I pick shoes over the guy. (4) For some reason, I just want him to be older, even if it is by an hour." -- Dee
