Dear Breakup Girl,
My fiancée left me last week just 15 days before we were to be wed.
That's not the biggest problem; you see, I am in love with her sister. In fact,
my inappropriate relationship with her sister is the reason she left me, if
you catch my meaning. I wasn't so mad about my fiancée leaving; it saved
me the trouble of pissing her off by doing it myself, but now her sister won't
talk to me. I feel like such a Jerry Springer candidate.
Lately, my former fiancée has been calling and making suggestive
comments
as though she'd like to get back together in a strictly sexual relationship.
Where do I stand? Should I just shy away from both of them? Follow my heart
and go after her sister? Or take the easy lay? Please help.
-- Chip
Dear Chip,
Do none of the above. In fact, do none of the ...
population.
That is, if you're looking for an easy lay, you can find one elsewhere; hence
the name. Also, don't be thick: her calling this soon after something that big
for something so superficial could be some sort of trap. If it is ever
appropriate
to be with either of them in any capacity -- which is highly debatable -- that
time is so not now. Shy away from everyone until you develop an appropriate
relationship with your conscience.
Love,
Breakup Girl
