A SINGLE SHOUT OUT, AS IT WERE

Eric writes: I was reading your letters and responses, and I came across one that asked about when to say; "I love you." Now...I'm not advising saying it in the first day (or week) BUT -- and this is a HUGE but -- based on my life experience I have a general rule of thumb that says "Don't miss the chance to tell someone you love them." This is based basically on a person that I never did say that to, and now I'll never ever have the chance. That isn't one of my BIGGEST regrets, but it's one that sticks with me.

BG finesses. Yes, indeedy. Just still be circumspect about what you call a "chance." And hey, Eric, who knows, maybe s/he's reading this right now.
