Dear Breakup Girl,
I learned recently that my ex-girlfriend had gotten married. I have not had
contact with her for about seven years. Question: Would it be inappropriate
to send a card congratulating her and wishing her all life's best? In fact,
I don't even want a reply. I simply feel happy for her and I feel the need to
express it. And that's it. Nothing more. I'm not trying to open a Pandora's
box. What's your opinion? I'd like to know.
-- Willy
Dear Willy,
You send the card; I'll send you the "Appropriate
Card-Sending" poster with your picture on it.
Love,
Breakup Girl
